I'd like the prev/next buttons in the minicalandar to change the month there, not taking you to that month in the full calendar.

The node the user was viewing before pressing the prev/next button. I'd link the full calendar in the month name only.

This makes sense. I found it pretty confusing that the prev/next buttons would only appear some times.

Has anyone managed to change/patch this. It's a feature i would like. I even think this should be the default behavier af such block.

Event for Drupal 8 is unrelated to older versions. If an issue similar to this one exists, please open a new issue with the 8.x branch.
