what is the possibility of providing a video field in taxonomy term form?

As specified on the project page, this module is only maintained for bug fixes.
You should have a look on Drupal 7 which handles taxonomy fields directly in core. So there is more flexible ways to deal with terms.
Unfortunately, the module Embedded Media Field has not been yet ported to D7, but there is probably another module which could do the trick.

thanks for your comments.
I have almost succeeded in achieving the video field using some customization along with term fields module.
I am very much aware of D7 capabilities, and have been using that quite for some time, but due to some modules unavailable for D7, I am going with D6 currently for one of my projects, in this case I needed videos to be attached to terms.

I understand your D6 choice. Fortunately things go on quite fast with D7, so most of the missing modules should be available within 1 year.
If you think that your solution for video files could help anybody with a similar issue, do not hesitate to post it there.
