Hi, I'm running a few Drupal 6 sites, all of which use the Subscriptions module which sends email notifications to registered users when new content is added. I'd really like to start moving to the latest version but can't see any way of doing this in Drupal 7 - Subscriptions isn't available for 7, and the alternative - Notifications - seems unmaintained. Anyone set up good email notifications functionality in 7?

I'm interested in using D7 for a forum site. One of the requirements is allowing people to subscribe to threads and get notifications. I agree, I don't think Notifications and Subscriptions will make it into D7 either. The migration to 7, just like the migration to 6, will take longer than expected.

I am using drupal 7, I want the subscription module for subscribed users get the notification of any updation in the selected content list, I installed the news subscription module, but it doesn't send the mails to the subscribed user. How to work with news subscription module?
