I have a content type, Article, with CCK Fields enabled. I have the latest CCK Blocks dev 2011 Feb 24. At Content Type > Article > Manage Display > CCK Blocks, I have selected several fields I have moved up from hidden into what I presume is visible. I have saved the content type.

I go to Structure > Blocks and there are no CCK Blocks there to position. What am I doing wrong?

Found problem - you've got to enable blocks per field in the content type settings. There's a setting called "Provide block for this field" which has to be enabled.

....got it. Forgot to check on the display field
