Oh wow, I didn't know about the Style Guide module. Thanks for linking me to it! Looks like there is a lot of overlap here and Style Guide has a good amount of momentum behind it. :) What Markup demo has that Style guide doesn't, are separate sub tabs for different types of output, which I think is easier to navigate, a table showing sortable table columns, Panels layouts/content and Views. These can be added easily to Style guide as patches. :)

but dosnt this also overlab with the design module maybe a combination of the markup demo, design & style guide would be pretty awesome :) ?

I created an issue #1218054: Integrate code from Markup Demo sandbox? to integrate this code into the Style Guide module, since it looks like it will continue to be a separate thing from Design.
