option to node id URL rather than alias URL in source URL

On my site, url aliases get reassigned every day. So it would nice if the Source URL in the printable version showed a URL with node id (i.e. a permalink) rather than the URL alias. I'm sure there's a good counter argument to this, so maybe the solution is to add a configuration option to the module settings.
