I'm using timeline module for viewing projects related tasks. I want to filter the tasks by project using the exposed filter but it doesn't seem to work in the timeline view of the views. Any Idea ?

This is "by design" in the sense that the view settings are only used to build the selection of nodes/events for the timeline, and the actual timeline user interface doesn't rely on the view settings at all.

I currently have no plans to change this behavior (sorry), but patches to accomplish that are welcome, of course.

I've added a short blurb about this to README.txt.

This feature interest me a lot and I have a bit of time to working on for my project.
Nevertheless, I'm new on Drupal. So, I will appreciate a lot if you can provide me some basics informations about steps to do this development.
