When trying to look up a certain 4.7 template the drop down list allways jumps back to 5.0 after I press go and will not allow me to browse anything but 5.0 compatible templates.

Thanks for the bug report. This is a known issue and is being discussed at http://drupal.org/node/107813

Currently you will need to login to drupal.org to use the drop down.
