hi
i checked this module and i love the idea behind. After some testing i found out it have a major bug, what tells me i should never use this module until this is fixed. Not from the functionality in general, but from the assured search engine BAN.
Problem description:
1. the module creates URL's like q=taxonomy_menu/term/1
2. taxonomy them self creates the same content under the url q=taxonomy/term/1
3. this is duplicate content any you will get banned by SE
4. renaming the URL won't help.
I don't understand why this taxonomy_menu URL is generated. PEASE fix this and use the original taxonomy URL in the menu.
This will reduce database transactions for URL aliases to 50% and so on and so on - and you don't get banned :-).
Regards
Alex

druvision commentedAs a temporary solution, I've written a module which uses custom_url_rewrite to change all taxonomy_menu URLs to the correct taxonomy/term/... form, and works with pathauto URLs.
This works great on the top nice_menus on my site, http://levavie.com
