Hi,
I'm about to start a new project with Drupal and I still haven't registered a domain.
Maybe this is a silly question, but does it make any difference for a search engine if a domain is .com or .net?
Thanks

Type-in traffic
No, it doesn't make any difference for the search engines. It only makes a difference for the so-called "type-in traffic". If people know the name of your site or project but they don't remember the domain suffix, they will usually try the .com first. So I would prefer the .com over the .net.
