I have overriden the theme_image_annotate_formatter_image_annotate function in my theme but doesn't fetches the image from imagecache. I teste the imagecache preset separatly and it worked fine.
I also found a same issue but it was closed so decided to add a new one.

You help will be highly appreciated.

It looks like jquery.annotate.js overrides the image!
I printed the image processed with imagecached on the same page with print() and it was displaying as desired but when returning that image, it doesn't.
