Started appearing at the top of the page and gradually everything stopped working.

My guess is that something is set to verbose mode. But I might be wrong.

I bet you are using IIS. I'm not familiar with that server, but I recognise that as the work of it.

Just a joke.. but it looks alot life the Front page extensions wierdness (I call it that becasue I don't much understand it and find it somewhat annoying as a result) are doing something they shouldn't.
