Is it possible to exclude an item from shipping calculation? i.e. Customer buys 5 shippable plants totalling
$200 and registers for 1 non-shippable gardening workshop for $75. So 25% shipping should be calculated based on the shippable total of $200 and result in $50 shipping charge.

Delete this request.
After un-checking the shippable checkbox in the workshop product, I had to empty cart and re-add a workshop "of the newly configured non-shippable type" to cart. Then the shipping calculated nicely. I never would have found it unless I posted a support request first.
