In my case all my images are uploaded to ImageFields within nodes. I don't have "just files". Can I create a different view based on my ImageFields that can still work with Image Browser?

The reason I am asking is because I want to add an exposed Taxonomy (or other) filter to improve the usability of the browser (it is hard to navigate through hundreds of images by page only).

Further on this: I tried creating my own view based on nodes (ImageField). Everything is fine except of one thing - I cannot get the File ID. Do you have any hints how to get the file ID in a node-view?

This is an old issue but it still exists, any ideas?
