I’m considering using this template, and I have several questions:
1) Is it true that “this template built on bluemarine template”?

2) Is it a good template if compatibility is an issue?

3) What does it take to add left sidebar as well as right sidebar and make it wider?
Well, I personally know how to make it wider, I don’t know about having 3-columns

No, the Kubrick template is not based on bluemarine's table-based template. For the compatibility, a user reported the blocks layout not setting up properly in Opera, but was not able to reproduce that. For the left sidebar, it should be to add a new div for the sidebar, assign it some width, margins and padding, also decrease some width for the center content.
