Last week, my site totally vanished from Google. It has over 30000 indexed pages. while doing some research on what could have wrong at my end, I found out that sitemap.xml has duplicate urls for some nodes (not all) its like sitename.com/node/121 and the same url under the pathauto alias as sitename.com/nicename.html
I believe this is making Gbot mad that its potentially duplicate content. How do i remove these node/id entries from sitemap? in 5.x version of XML sitemap, i didnt find a way to rebuild the sitemap was wondering if that would fix the issue.
I am not using global redirect right now, am not sure if that would fix these issue?
if anyone know what can be done please help.
