When updating from Views 7.x-3.xdev 2010/12/27 to the version from 2011/03/09 everything seems to work ok until the cache tables are cleared. After that the dropdown fields in exposed filters change to textfields and are not working anymore as a filter.

Which filters? You need to be precise, particularly if you're going to mark a report critical.
