It's quite a wonderful module that i am looking for a while~
And I find that it started recently and base on d6, maybe d7 will be a good choice for a new module as drupal 7.0 released.
If any plans for d7 version , I would be happy to test it.

Issue tags: +Drupal 6 -> Drupal 7 upgrade

Hi,

Great to hear such positive feedback on the module, thanks!!

Absolutely, it will be ported to Drupal 7 but first I want to get it stable and firm out the API & theme callbacks in Drupal 6 then begin the upgrade.

Cheers
Tom

This module is amazing -- just used it on a Drupal 6 project. Your code and APIs are so easy to understand and use -- thanks. We're looking to start building out on Drupal 7 and this would be an important module to have as ported before we do that.

THANKS!

Hi,

@capellic thanks for the great feedback, glad you're liking the module.

Patches for a Drupal 7 version are welcome but I'd really like to work on getting the Drupal 6 version stable and settle on the features first.

Cheers
Tom

Title: d7 support ? » d7 support for "User Notifications" module?

Keeping an eye out and updating the title to make it more Dashboard friendly.

I ran the module through the Coder module to update the schema to Drupal 7. I'm attaching the zip file here, but it needs a lot of work.

I must emphasize:
IT DOES NOT WORK

Included in the zip file are the module files and the patch file.

Hi,

I see the need to upgrade this but my time is very very limited right now. I'm actively seeking a co-maintainer to push this module along & also suggested it's inclusion into Drupal Commons (http://drupal.org/node/1710688#comment-6576322). If anyone is interested in co-maintaining please let me know.

Patches, sponsorship & feedback welcomed :)
Cheers

Is anyone developing the D7 version for this module? I would love to see this great module in D7 and I am willing to help developing the D7 version.

just flagging, looks like i may need just this for a d7 site so will likely start porting it soon... if anyone has started or added to the zip file, would be good to post so we can coordinate.

Status: Active » Needs review

So we have our first development release - all comments and feedback welcome. We still need to:
1. create an upgrade path from d6 to d7, i dont have a d6 site with this so it would be great if someone can help out or if they have a small sandbox site they dont mind sharing, i'd take that too.
2. create categories for notifications - i didn't include this is the first release since it could be taken care of by bundles and entities, which is next.
3. need to move away from nodes and use entities
4. I haven't tested the cron functionality

Version: 7.x-1.x-dev » 7.x-2.x-dev

7.x-2.x will be the maintained branch going forward, it is completely entity based.
