Hi there!

I'm trying to migrate my drupal based site to drupal 5. Right now i'm working on jrating. But unfortunately i can' get it to work. First, here are the version numbers

drupal 5 rc2
jrating-5.x-1.x-dev
views-5.x-1.4-2rc1
votingapi-5.x-1.2
actions-5.x-1.x-dev

Every module should be up to date. I pretty much followed

http://www.wikihow.com/Add-Rating-System-in-Drupal

for the installation

1) installed the modules listed above
2) activated all necessary modules
3) under admin/settings/content-types i activated that the rating form should be displayed
4) under admin/access i activated the "rate content" right for anonymous and authenticated users

After that i can see something like "Average rating (0 votes)" under each story. (Take a look at the screenshot under http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/7629/jratingjb0.png )

But there's no way to vote. No matter if i've got admin rights or a anonymous user.

Is there something I missed?

Thanks
Christoph

I also find no way to vote. I downloaded and installed a new Drupal 5 and took votingapi and views for 5 just the other day. I notice in install directions for jrating that alf (author) includes a file votingapi_views.inc which is supposed to replace that at modules/views/votingapi/votingapi_views.inc. I found no such file to replace this thing with at the stated location, and haven't figured out how to get it all together yet.. but this might work?

I try to vote with Opera 9.2 and it works. But not on ie or Firefox.

Hey, it works. After I installed the most recent version (2007-Jan-24) it works. Even with Firefox.

I beg to differ.

I just installed the latest version and it's still not working.
Can you upload a screenshot of it in IE and Firefox?

I cannot vote either ... when I click on a star I get a javascript error in the status bar of IE.

Hello, I installed the last version of the related modules in two of my sites, but in one (www.julianbolivar.com) work fine but in my other (www.lashallacas.com) don't....

And both have the same drupal version 5.1 and modules, and really I don't have idea what is wrong in www.lashallacas.com
