Same problem here. Only idea-site content-type appears when selecting create content, and I get access denied even using the admin user.

Hello,

I have the same problem also on a Drupal 6.19. I have also "Node Privacy by Role" activated. Perhaps there is a problem with it. If someone has a solution that could be really great :)

Thanks

Same here. I'm trying to test the Ideation feature in a stock Drupal 6.19 install.

I just figured this one out. You need to go to /features/ideation and enable the Ideation feature. I believe this is a spaces "admin" screen where you enable a feature in a site-wide context. If you are using Organic Groups or Open Atrium, there is probably a similar URL under each Group.

In fact this is already done. I've updated to 6.20 and have always the same problem.

It finally work.

There one thing I missed to do. As I don't really know Features I didn't saw that i had to activate this feature by the link in my perosnal menu (not sure that make sense as an explaination. it works fine now I can publish Idea and vote.

I'm having the same problem (activated on a drupal commons install). Can someone tell me exactly where this needs to be activated? I've tried all of the usual suspects (node, feature)

Look at: http://localhost/features/ideation
Ensure to enable both "Commons Wiki" and "Ideation"

I'm about ready to give it up. I can't for the life of my get rid of the 'permission denied'-- Even as user1. I'm using this with a Drupal Commons install...any conflicts known there?

Hi moodwar, did you look at #9?

mwoodwar’s picture

Yes I did...it gave me a new ray of hope, but made no difference unfortunately. I'm beginning to think that it might be a conflict with Drupal Commons?...still investigating

gargsuchi’s picture

Were you able to find a solution for this?

gargsuchi’s picture

I think I have figured it out - what we need to do is remove all the "spaces" related stuff from the feature - in fact we need to even remove the dependency on spaces module - it will start working with commons then.

In the process of building a commons feature based on this.

Thanks

Great news Suchi...thanks for your work!

Has anything happened with the Commons module? I'm interested in creating such a feature and would be happy to help with dev work or test etc.
Cheers,
