I'm experiencing trouble with the main menu with my multilingual site. I use just one menu where all the menu items for all the different languages are located. For each menu item, I have selected a language (under "Edit menu item"), for instance "Contact us" is set to English, "Kontakt oss" to Norwegian, "Kontakt" to Polish etc. I have also created "Home", "Hjem" and "Start" (set to English, Norwegian and Polish respectively) all three paths set to . Main language for site is Norwegian. As attachment shows, all the the three Home-menu items (Hjem, Home and Start) is shown, instead of just "Hjem". For the other menu items, only the norwegian version is displayed. But if I put the same menu in the block "Home area 1" it is shown correct, with only the Norwegian language items displayed when Norwegian language is selected, English menu items when English language is selected etc.

Is there a fix for this?

And aslo, if there are many menu items, you can see that the menu looks bad. Is there any way to expand the with of the menu area or change the size, so all menu items will fit?

Attatchment nr. 2

Shows the Norwegian menu in "Home area 1".

If english is selected it shows the English menu correct as well, with

So the menu placed in "Home area 1" is displayed correct without the other languages Home menu item.

(Sorry if this counts as bumping the thread.)

Maybe this post http://drupal.org/node/1100634 could give you some ideas on how to handle the multilanguage menus.
