I am using Mollom on a high traffic website and have at least 1 webform submission in every 5 seconds.
As Mollom creates a new watchdog entry for each submission and/or CAPTCHA entry it puts an extra load on the mysql server.

I suggest to make watchdog logging optional. Maybe a checkbox on the admin page would do the trick.

Suggestions, comments are very welcome.

Thank you, Gergely

better option is to write watchdog to a syslog. but could make a good feature request indeed

more generic, it would be great if we could finetune per module/action if e want to log or not.

"Here Here!"

Rather annoying that my logs are full of "Server 'http://174.37.205.152' redirected to: 'http://67.228.84.11'." which is not useful info.

That's the majority of my log entries.
