I'm building a site for my very small little "company"... I want a section of the site devoted to being a collaboration center for myself and the few people I work with. We use Skype, normally, but we're all a little disorganized and none of us have schedules that are even remotely the same.

I used to use Huddle, but I find that Huddle seems to have gone off the deep end and is now 100% commercialized. I can't even find the source code that I swear used to be free to the public.

Is there a module (for Drupal 7) or group of modules that I can use EASILY to set up a similar small environment? Some of things I'd like to make sure happen...

* Workflows for different projects
* Drop-boxes for finished work
* Ability to attach resources, images, etc. to various projects
* Automatic notification for new project changes
* Work assignments

I've seen a few modules floating around that seem to do this, but none of them appear ready for use with Drupal 7.

Anyhow, recommendations?

... understandably we all want to have the latest version - but it might limit you.

Storm - http://drupal.org/project/storm - is a comprehensive project with lots of add on and a lot of hard work by a number of people; but not yet for D7.

You will find that D6 will offer you more modules, support and experts around than D7 yet. And D6 and the D6 modules will be more stable - development and maintenance of D6 and modules will be around for some years yet. Just something to consider.
