Change author of referenced nodes to that of the node that reference them

Hi,
How can I set a rule to change the author of nodes to become that of the node that reference them?
for example: say you have NodeA that includes a reference field that references NodeB, what I would like that when NodeB (or NodeA are saved, althought it's not necessary) NodeB's author will change to become NodeA's author.
