I am needing this theme for a drupal 7 based project so I am going to do the conversion work and post it back here.
I was never able to get around to doing the Drupal 7 port, but have ported it to Drupal 8. I have updated the theme to use bootstrap for the base theme and am helping my front-end developer with the update process.

Good theme, i really love it.
Thank you very much for converting to drupal 7.
There is still a problem in the theme while adding a block into the header region.
Nothing is displayed on the rendered page.
I tryed to debug the code fragment; in the $main_menu is the right content in the

snippet, but may be the following print theme('..... is buggy?
In the old v6 version it was possible to add a block to the header region; you can see it on the demo website at
http://interface-web.co.uk/theme-by-interface (at top of the page is a menu visible)
