Hello,

I've used jcarousel block in the past, with success. In fact i even wrote some of the documentation on it.

But today i'm testing the latest 1.8 version and it simply is not working.

  • Installed the module along with the plugin from sorgalla.com
  • Configured the module (fieldname, etc)
  • Added the imagefield field to a specific content type
  • Configured Display settings for hidden (both teaser and node)
  • Made sure the block is displayed under content

Nothing comes up.

If i change Display settings to show "image" on teaser or node, then the photos i uploaded just appear over there, no styling, no carousel slider at all.

I managed to make the block appear (just changing around small things, nothing major), but it's still not styled (no back/forth arrows).

This happens on a custom theme.

Changed to a couple of Drupal default themes (garland, etc) and all of them display the slider correctly.

So now that i know where the problem is, how do solve this? :(

Is there anything i could change on my theme's css ?

I have made further tests:

Conclusion is:

  • Using Garland core theme, both tango and custom skin work well.
  • Using Acquia Marina theme, both tango and custom skin work well.
  • Using the custom theme, doesnt matter if i use tango skin or custom skin, none of them work!



Since everything points to this being a problem with the theme, i was wondering how to fix it.
Can anyone help on this?
