Something's wrong here. The site title and alt tags are empty even when site title is defined.

Yes, I had this problem too. Just edit the page.tpl.php file and look for "img src="<?php print $logo ?". Replace the string functions between the "" for both alt and title with actual words i.e. "JonesyTech" then it will show up when someone hovers over the logo. Hope this helped. Happy drupaling!
