Here's a patch to make it work with D7. Haven't touched the CSS, just got the code working. Zip and tarball attached too for quick drop-in as I'm still learning how to make patches that work... ;)

I installed this on a test site, and it appears to work without issue.

[edited] I overrode theme_item_list in the template for a theme to display all the information inline (removed the div and replaced it with a span)

Thanks nice module.
but it has problem with compact forms compact forms
The availability of register, forgot password links should be made optional settings like in modal forms
with these options this will be a great module
