I'd like activate the forum module on my Drupal site. However, I don't want users to create new forum topics *without* administrator approval. This is similar to not being allowed to post comments without administrator approval.

Under permissions I see options for "Create new content," but not for "Create new content but need admin approval".

Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

I need this too! I would like to allow some users to create the topic but then have it submitted as unpublished until a moderator approves it.
