This is a small point but one that might drive some folks up a wall until they notice it and work around it, but the inclusion value doesn't save when a new CCK content type is created -- if you set "included", that is. Regardless of your setting, the field will default to "Excluded" until after you save the content type, go back in, and modify it.

Again, a minor point but one that had me scratching my head and saying, "I know I set that to Included!"
