Hi,
When i use the addtoany module i see an iframe tag being inserted on my page. Is this tag being inserted by the module and is it neecesaary for it work?

Yep, it's AddToAny's utility frame for getting information from addtoany.com, such as the preferred sharing destinations for the current user. In short, it helps personalize the AddToAny menu for each user.
