Has anyone else experienced this problem? My trimmed teaser length is set to 400 characters, which works fine for Story nodes. However, it does not work for Video nodes. Instead the full video intro/body text is disaplyed on the fornt page.

Any thoughts?

glen take look at html source of video description (body) maybe contains something like

some text

. In this case drupal shows all text enclosed im paragraph. solution is to break paragraph with enter where you need to place page break. and drupal will show that first part of text.

Thankf for the help, but I don't think that will help me. I cant manually insert breaks because this will be a community site where others add stories and video. They will not be adding breaks.

It's just wierd that the trimming is working on some nodes (Stories) and not others (Videos).
