Using Views to create content for Slider

Issue Summary

I have used the Slider module successfully by creating a content type, then using this to make the content of this content type to make a slideshow.

But can I use Views to build the content I want to use? I've tried building page displays in Views, but can't access them as a content type in Slider.

I'm trying to build a slideshow with Slider that is essentially a teaser for other pages. And I want to be able to have the content all connected. Hence I would like to use Views to build the slider content as well as the full pages.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
