I was thinking it would be nice - and in the interest of building community building - to offer a way for users to define a title for their blog, possibly in their account settings. As it is now, a user's blog is titled: "JoeSmith's blog" with JoeSmith being the username that the Joe registered as. What I was looking for is Joe to be able to name his blog "Pearls Before Swine" for example. So instead of "JoeSmith's Blog" it would read "Pearls Before Swine" in the title. It could also be "JoeSmith's 'Pearls Before Swine' blog".
This has nothing to do with the path alias, although one may (or may not) infuence the other.
I saw a couple of related forum posts, but no official feature requests:

While we're at it, how about a user defined description. Sample screenshot attached.

Features go against next major version.
This would be cool and could easily be done as a contrib module, but would be nice to have in core IMO.

Contrib provides this.
