Is there a plan to release a Drupal 7 port of this module?

I'm new to module creation for Drupal 7, but not Drupal or PHP programming, so I'd be glad to contribute any way I can.

Suppose it's too early to close this. The module page needs update to point a status of project and there's no -dev release on module's page.

API doc in the readme.txt, API can be accessed by:
