I'm testing SMS Framework with the Email Gateway. When a user tries to confirm their phone number for the first time, the FROM address in the resulting text message is NOT my site default email (that you setup at /admin/settings/site-information), but rather the default email of my web host server.

I saw this similar issue for 5.x and some code was apparently committed to HEAD at one time but I don't quite understand what was committed or if it applies at all to the 6.x-1.0 version.

Doesn't it make sense that the FROM EMAIL should be my site default email? Please let me know if I'm missing something here.

I see this issue was moved to a new module. Are you expecting a 6.x-2.x release sometime soon then?
