The module is still maintained (last commit was 2 weeks ago). Sorry, I am not sure I understand your question. Can you explain further?

Tes... It seems like the assignment has what looks like a taxonomy link at the bottom of each assignment for students, called "Create a ***** response" with **** being the designated response content type. I really like to create my node layout by useing fields in views , and make a custom layout. But I cant figure out how to get this to be shown throught views, the onlyway it shows is if you have node:content displayed in panels.I want to use views to create a block with this link for students to click on to create task response.
