When exporting a new Feature, in Strongarm (where is the list of all variables), it would be good to show current value of the field. If it's text, display it (truncate to specified numer of chars), otherwise display the type of variable.

I think the goal of the Features UI should be less gobbledygook, more Human language.

More detail availability in the features drush commands might be interesting.

The current value of a variable is not usually a human-readable kind of thing. I think the UI should expose less things that require being a developer familiar with the bits of code involved. If this were going forward, it should be an option to turn on.

As a separate issue (and I don't recall it's name, but somewhere in the queue), a developer mode that allows previewing the values of all exports in a currently configured feature would be useful, both to double check what's going on, and to help with developing new Features integrations.
