I like the hidden login panel. Is there support for logo, regions, etc. for a blog or corporate site?

I believe it can be used. You probably need to change the rootcandy_navigation (since it shows admin links). Other minor tweaks might be needed.

This is generally an administration theme. You can set the admin theme to be used for editing content but otherwise, as tivie points out you'd have to hack at the theme to get it to be a user facing theme.
