Just installed the 5.x.1.x-dev version. Was able to successfully create a mailing list. When navigating to My Account to subscribe to the mailing list - I clicked the checkbox and clicked submit. It sent me an email saying I successfully subscribed but it doesn't actually subscribe me. This warning is displayed to the user:
warning: preg_match() expects parameter 2 to be string, array given in /home/drupal-5.0/sites/all/modules/mimemail/mimemail.inc on line 103.

thumperstrauss commentedI have the same setup as you and have the same error message. The subscription is successful and the user gets the welcome message. But that darn error message appears.
Anyone have an idea what to fix?

cbutera commentedI don't think the subscription is actually successful though. If you look in the DB there isn't a subscription. Only the email is sent successfully.

thumperstrauss commentedI see. I didn't check to see if it was in the db or not. In any case, I have switched to Simplenews for now. It is not as good is that I haven't yet figured out how to allow users to select check boxes to subscribe to more than one newsletter. But it does seem to work well at what it does.

allie mickaI can't duplicate this. Perhaps it was fixed during a recent batch of changes, or perhaps it's due to a configuration issue.
If you need to reopen this, please specify which backend you're using, and the parameters you've used in your list configuration.
Thanks!
