GMap and Taxonomy

I have read the posts for using GMap and Taxonomy to produce a specific map, but still no luck. I read that the locatoin module must be installed and I was wondering, is this the Gmap location or the module by civicspace? I noticed that they both have a DB table named location (and they seem to be the same schema.) Below is the code I'm using and the page.
