Drupal installer fails to install for pgsql if php is missing mysql support

today I tried to install drupal on a server that had only Postgresql and the new installer would not let me install on Postgresql because it gave a error immediately after going to http://mysite.org/drupalinstal that php did not have support for Mysql installed.

Seems the installer should be checking if PHP has support for MySQL OR pgsql.
