What's the best way to create a heat map using GMap? I would like to link the number of nodes within a specific geographical location to a color scale. I am using UberCart Marketplace and would like to link listings by graphical location with location density.

In execution I would like the heatmap to be an overlay, or an alternate view of a clickable map which can be toggled between various map information. So one option would be a heat map, the other would be an clickable overlay with clickable pins linking to individual nodes.

Does GMap support this?
