I'm not sure if this is a bug. I submitted the question via the forum first, and haven't solved the issue.

My trimmed teaser length is set to 400 characters, which works fine for Story nodes. However, it does not work for Video nodes. Instead the full video intro/body text is displayed on the front page. Using manual breaks is not an option because these videos and body text will be posted by users.

The teasers are not trimmed and next to that the automatic Lines and paragraphs break are not in added in the teasers.

Some further info: if there is a <!--break--> in the middle of the body, it is ignored. The entire body is shown, but there is a "read more" link. I have to add <!--break--> to the end of the body for the "read more" to not show up.
