The current system means that users are unable to add their teams to leagues once the pre-season flag has been removed. This is not really flexible enough.

Sorry - committed where? The latest dev version is dated 11 March, your commit is dated 16 March - and the patch isn't in 11 March version??? Where should I be looking?
