How can the Main Menu show dropdown-menu

Use either Nice Menus or Superfish module and create a menu block and place it to the main menubar region.

Hi,
I'm working on the same problem. For some reason, when I move the nice menu block into the menu bar I get two menus (one with drop-downs and one without). I have the main menu in the section in blocks, so I have no idea why it still shows up. Any suggestions?

I think your answer is in the Nice Menus documentation. http://drupal.org/project/nice_menus I had the same result as you at one time but the problem was in the menu configuration and not Mayo.
