After clicking delete on an invitation the link still shows and is still clickable. refreshing etc does not get rid of it.

This doesn't happen on my test set-up. Can you provide some more details please?

Possibly related to http://drupal.org/node/110727 which marked duplicate of this issue

Eventually related to http://drupal.org/node/101208, so marking as duplicate. The CVS code seems pretty stable regarding all those "delete doesn't work" issues.
