I'm working on a D7 port at the moment. There's quite a bit of refactoring required as I'm trying to move the petition data away from custom database tables and into the field API/entity system. Might as well leverage core Drupal :-)

As soon as I've got anything to show, I'll be after people to help test it.

@galooph : have you made any progress since April ? Is there a D7 beta ready to be tested somewhere? I have a client willing to spend money for an upgrade...

Apologies for the lack of updates!

There's nothing up to test at the moment but I am working on the new entities. Progress should pick up now as my new employer lets me spend one day a month working on contrib projects, plus I've got some vacation time coming up.

@paradiso: Do you use the geographic settings at all? Only asking as the ip2cc and countries_api modules haven't been ported to D7 yet.

With moving to an entity based structure, the whole petition storage in the db will change. Will you need a direct upgrade path from the D6 version so that you can retain existing petition data?
