Hi,
My hosting is with Godaddy.
Have changed my Primary Domain from vivmajor.com to bitestation.com. Before that I was testing my new site in the subfolder vivmajor (which now is serving vivmajor.com)
During tests the Iframe in the site was working fine ( The IFrame is calling the whois folder - so the path http://www.vivmajor.com/whois/ when called in an Iframe was giving results for domain name search)
Now after the change in Primary domain from vivmajor.com to bitestation.com, the call to the IFrame with path http://www.bitestation.com/whois/ opens the page but when a name is input for domain name search I get the below mentioned error.
Warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: unable to connect to whois.crsnic.net:43 (Connection timed out) in /home/content/v/i/v/vivmajor/html/whois/whois.php on line 98
Error: (whois.crsnic.net) Connection timed out (110)
Also, the Drupal contact email is also not getting through. ( Email is now working after changing the email address in the site information to domain specific email id.)
The Godaddy support is saying that it is not a server issue.
Maybe not.
But I have no clue about what and where is wrong. Could it be an .htaccess issue?
It would be really great if someone can point me to any solution.
Thanks

Did you find a solution?
vivdrupal,
Did you find a solution to the problem?
Also, how did you change your primary domain name? I need to do that, but godaddy isn't much help. I set my domain as dev.mysite.org while developing and now need to change to mysite.org. Godaddy thinks it will break my site if we change the domain in the hosting without changing in the Drupal instance, but I am not finding where to do that.
Any light you can shed will be appreciated.
Thanks!
