Here's a (kind of ugly) first pass at a patch to upgrade this module to Drupal 7. Needed something working reasonably by Monday, and didn't have much time to spend on it.

It's basically functional, but needs work. Definitely do not use in production.

Unfortunately I think this project may be a dead end seeing as how Google is phasing out the iGoogle homepage. Unless there's another location the view could be used for - I think further progress is pointless. Let me know if I have it wrong, if there are other places to use this gadget code, and I'll be glad to follow up on it.
